Second Concert of the Season

"Jewels of Jewish Baroque", the second concert of the Callipygian Player's debut season featured the music from Salamone Rossi and his contemporaries in 17th century Europe.

Audiences in Evanston and Naperville enjoyed rarely-performed selections of both secular and religious music from that time.

Following the concert, the audience joined the performers on stage to view their period instruments and learn more about their history and capabilities.
